Error codeEr16
ApplianceIce Maker
How Er16 is triggered
An RNP115 or URNP115 nugget ice machine operates the drain valve and expects to detect the lower limit water level sensor. If that does not happen within 2 minutes, Er16 is the result. It is a water drain error.
Actions from the manual
Swap the water level sensor if it is defective.
Confirm that the drain valve works.
Inspect the drain for a clog.
Restart the machine once that is done.
Left alone, the error resets after 5 minutes.

A clogged drain or a faulty sensor is easier to sort out with help. Call (415) 329-7078 to arrange U-Line ice maker repair in San Francisco, and say whether the drain has been looked at yet. Er16 and the model number are the two details to have.
Model compatibility: U-Line reuses codes across series and model years, so Er16 may mean something different on another appliance or generation. Confirm this against your model’s documentation and record your full model number before acting.
